Michelle Obama --

an American lawyer, author, and former First Lady of the United States. She was born in 1964 in Chicago, Illinois, and earned degrees from Princeton University and Harvard Law School. During her time as First Lady from 2009 to 2017, she launched several initiatives to promote health and education, including the Let's Move! campaign to combat childhood obesity. Obama is also a bestselling author, with her memoir "Becoming" selling over 10 million copies worldwide. She continues to be a prominent voice in the public sphere, advocating for social justice, women's rights, and education.

Black History Month is an annual observance in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom for remembrance of important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. It is celebrated in February in the United States and Canada, and in October in the United Kingdom. The observance was first established as "Negro History Week" by historian Carter G. Woodson in 1926, and later expanded to a month-long celebration in 1976. The goal of Black History Month is to recognize and honor the contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout history.
